Our Favorite Ideas

  • Instead of syrup on pancakes and waffles: Mash berries with a fork or potato masher until they are a pulpy/juicy consistency. Add ¼ tsp Stevia (a natural sweetener sugar replacement) if blackberries are a little too tart. Not necessary with fully ripe blackberries. Use in place of syrup. Toss in blueberries and raspberries as well, if you like!
  • Instead of brown sugar or raisins on oatmeal (or any cereal for that matter): Fix plain oatmeal according to directions. Top with ¼ to ½ cup blackberries. Sweetness in every bite!
  • Snack! A low sugar high fiber snack. Cool and sweet out of the refrigerator.
